Job summary

K&A Power Group in Bethpage, New York, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Specialist to join our team on challenging energy and utility projects.

This hybrid role is based in Melville, NY (in-office Tue–Thu). The position requires a four-year degree and about six years of experience, excellent Excel skills, and strong communication to coordinate with stakeholders and FEMA teams.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree preferred, major in Business Administration or related field.
• Six years of experience in this function with some managerial oversight/direction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrable quantitative and analytical skills.
• Utility background is preferred.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.

What we’re looking for:

• A four-year college degree is preferred, majoring in Business Administration or related field.


• 6 years of experience performing this specific job function and requires some managerial oversight/direction.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills


• Demonstrable quantitative and analytical skills


• Utility background is preferred


• Previous experience utilizing basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).


• Microsoft Project experience is a plus, as is prior work on a federally funded project


• Demonstrate a high level of personal initiative and ability to interact with stakeholders positively and collaboratively.


• Demonstrate a high level of skill in Microsoft Excel.


• Must be in Long Island or Queens County


• Hybrid Position in Melville, NY (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Pay Range $85,000-$95,000/year
