Overview

Senior Professional Recruiter at Insight Global - Hiring Engineering, Accounting, Finance, and other Business Individuals!

Travel: Travel to Shelbyville Kentucky, weekly starting Feb 2026-Dec 2026. Will be able to go home on the weekends. Everything will be expensed

Pay Rate: $48-55/hr

Base pay range

$48.00/hr - $55.00/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Must Haves
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering
  • 3-5+ years of experience installing equipment and launch experience. Will have oversight of build, lead of installation, and launch of systems for processing and testing of manufactured parts.
  • Project Management background, will oversee total system: Controls, ergonomic, safety, process, etc. candidate is expected to carry capacity, capability, general mechanical, electrical, process and launch.
  • Understands how to test parts for quality concerns. Will oversee Concepting, specification, and sourcing of quality testing and quality data management systems.
  • Experience collecting data from testing and uploading to the cloud. Will be responsible for development of plantwide quality process and data collection / retention systems
  • Understands commissioning and electrical controls
  • Motivated, self-starter (will not be having a ton of direction and will oversee controls engineering)
Day to Day
  • Laboratory analytical equipment measurement ability and capacity assessment
  • Specification and procurement of laboratory and analytical equipment
  • Installation and launch of lab equipment, including facilities requirements, commissioning, and “ready for production” hand-off.
  • Lead development of systems to acquire and manage quality data, including comprehensive storage and reporting system (with lab equipment directly integrated or otherwise)
  • Lead development of third-party interface between available laboratory equipment outputs to quality data management and retention systems
  • Lead / support development and implementation of Batch and Hold strategies and tactics
  • Development of operating plans, maintenance plans, and single point lessons for laboratory and quality system
  • Support for part datum use and application across all systems and processes, including impacts of deviation to product specifications and function
  • Support building and facilities for all laboratory and measurement system requirements
  • Support controls and IT for all requirements of data capture, storage, and reporting systems
  • Conformance to all Ford specifications and procedures for aforementioned deliverables, including performance validation, ergonomic, and safety requirements
