Job summary

Cianbro is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee heavy civil, marine, and concrete construction projects in Bangor, ME. You will lead field operations, coordinate safety, productivity, and resources to meet design, budget, and schedule targets.

Travel is required as projects advance; compensation is based on knowledge and experience. Wage range is $1,700–$2,900 per week, reflecting market rates for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of construction experience.
• Heavy Civil, Marine, Concrete Construction experience is essential.
• Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills.
• Must be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction field operations to ensure delivery per design, budget and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions including safety, scheduling, material control and daily activity planning.
• Supervise craft employees and/or other contractors as required by the contract.
• Provide technical input on construction methods and equipment to mitigate delays and interface issues during design changes and ongoing construction.
• Coordinate resources to manage the work area.
• Ensure all onsite personnel comply with project procedures and safety requirements.

Supervise the total construction effort of heavy civil, marine, and concrete construction projects to ensure work is completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule requirements. Provide leadership for field operations, coordinating project safety, productivity, resource management, and construction activities while working closely with project teams, customers, and subcontractors. Utilize strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills to drive project performance and deliver successful project outcomes. The wage range for this position is one thousand seven hundred to two thousand nine hundred dollars per week. Compensation will be determined based on knowledge and experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise construction field operations to ensure the project is delivered in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives, other contractors, etc.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions -including project safety, scheduling, engineering, material control, daily activity planning, and may provide day to day direction of onsite administration staff and engineers
• Supervise craft employees and/or other contractors as required by the contract
• Provide technical assistance, recommending construction methods and equipment as required, suggesting alternatives to mitigate delays and interface issues during design changes and ongoing construction
• Coordinate resources to successfully manage the work area
• Ensure all onsite personnel complies with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc.
