Job summary

Cianbro is seeking a seasoned Construction Supervisor to lead field operations for heavy civil, marine, and concrete projects in the Baltimore area. You will oversee safety, scheduling, and coordination with clients and subcontractors to meet design, budget, and schedule targets.

The role requires at least 5 years of construction experience, excellent leadership and communication skills, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of construction experience.
• Heavy Civil, Marine, Concrete Construction Experience is essential.
• Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills.
• Must be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction field operations to ensure the project is delivered in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions including project safety, scheduling, engineering, material control, daily activity planning, and may provide day to day direction of onsite administration staff and engineers.
• Supervise craft employees and/or other contractors as required by the contract.
• Provide technical assistance, recommending construction methods and equipment as required, suggesting alternatives to mitigate delays and interface issues during design changes and ongoing construction.
• Coordinate resources to successfully manage the work area.
• Ensure all onsite personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc.

Supervise the total construction effort of heavy civil, marine, and concrete construction projects to ensure work is completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule requirements. Provide leadership for field operations, coordinating project safety, productivity, resource management, and construction activities while working closely with project teams, customers, and subcontractors. Utilize strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills to drive project performance and deliver successful project outcomes.

Compensation is determined based on factors such as experience, knowledge, qualifications, and performance. The compensation range for this position is $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 and is exclusive of any other benefit and/or bonus. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued growth.
