Job summary

AnderCorp is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on construction projects in Jackson, MS. You will drive safety, schedule, and quality while representing the company to clients and trade partners.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in construction with field supervision and a relevant degree preferred. Strong leadership, drawing interpretation, and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in scheduling software and project management tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of construction experience and field supervision experience.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Experience with construction technology, scheduling software, and project management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all field operations to ensure safety, schedule, and quality.
• Represent AnderCorp with clients, trade partners, and stakeholders throughout projects.
• Lead jobsite safety culture and enforce site policies.
• Coordinate inspections, logistics, material deliveries, and on-site activities.
• Lead trade meetings, safety talks, and pre-construction meetings.
• Collaborate with project managers, owners, consultants, and partners.
• Support budgeting, closeout activities, and issue resolution.

What You'll Do

As a Superintendent, you'll be responsible for directing and coordinating all field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

You’ll serve as a key representative of AnderCorp, building trust with clients, trade partners, and project stakeholders throughout every phase of construction.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and promoting a strong jobsite safety culture
• Managing daily field operations and onsite coordinationDriving project schedules and subcontractor performance
• Maintaining quality control and adherence to plans and specifications
• Coordinating inspections, logistics, material deliveries, and site activities
• Leading trade meetings, safety talks, and preparatory meetings
• Collaborating closely with project managers, owners, consultants, and trade partners
• Supporting project budgeting, closeout activities, and issue resolution
