Job summary

AnderCorp is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead and support safety and health programs across active construction projects. You will partner with project teams to identify risks and promote safe work practices, ensuring daily operations protect workers.

You will implement programs, ensure OSHA compliance, conduct site inspections, and train teams. The role requires strong communication and leadership to cultivate a culture where everyone goes home safely.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of construction experience.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to influence safe behaviors and accountability throughout the project team.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a strong safety culture across all project sites.
  • Partner with field and project teams to identify, evaluate, and eliminate potential hazards.
  • Implement and maintain company safety and health programs.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance and adherence to policies.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to verify safe work practices.
  • Analyze inspection findings and leading indicators to prevent injuries.
  • Lead new employee safety orientations and ensure training is completed.
  • Facilitate site safety meetings and ongoing safety education initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation and compliance reports.
  • Monitor subcontractor adherence to project safety requirements.
  • Stay current on OSHA regulations and industry best practices and communicate updates to teams.
  • Serve as a safety resource, mentor, and coach for teams.

What You'll Do

As a Safety Manager, you will:

  • Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture across all project sites
  • Partner with field and project management teams to proactively identify, evaluate, and eliminate potential hazards
  • Implement and maintain company safety and health programs
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and applicable industry standards
  • Conduct routine jobsite inspections and audits to verify safe work practices
  • Analyze inspection findings and leading indicators to support early hazard recognition and injury prevention
  • Lead new employee safety orientations and ensure required training is completed
  • Facilitate site-wide safety meetings and ongoing safety education initiatives
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including inspections, training records, and compliance reports
  • Monitor subcontractor adherence to project-specific safety requirements
  • Stay current on OSHA regulations and industry best practices and communicate updates to project teams
  • Serve as a trusted safety resource, mentor, and coach for project teams and employees

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of relevant construction experience
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to influence safe behaviors and foster accountability throughout the project team
