Job Summary

A growing company is seeking a Project Specialist to support new product development, overseas manufacturing, supply chain coordination, and customer-driven projects. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a bilingual English and Mandarin Chinese professional who enjoys managing details, coordinating across time zones, and helping products move successfully from concept through production and delivery.

The Project Specialist will work closely with overseas factories, internal departments, and customers to support product specifications, costing, timelines, production status, quality questions, and delivery expectations. This role offers the opportunity to be a key connector between manufacturing partners, customers, and internal teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate new product development projects with overseas factories, including product specifications, samples, testing, costing, and project timelines.
• Work directly with manufacturers to monitor production schedules, capacity, raw materials, inventory, purchase orders, and delivery status.
• Analyze product costs, including raw materials, labor, packaging, freight, tariffs, and other supply chain-related expenses.
• Communicate with customers regarding product specifications, project status, lead times, quality questions, and product-related inquiries.
• Coordinate across customers, factories, and internal Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to support successful project execution.
• Assist with product issues, specification changes, customer complaints, supply chain risks, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $60,000 to $80,000 per year.
• Job type: Direct hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Coordinate overseas manufacturing and new product development projects from specifications through production and delivery.
• Manage project timelines, samples, costing, production updates, and customer communication.
• Support supply chain planning, inventory visibility, purchase orders, and international supplier coordination.
• Partner with internal teams and external factories to resolve project, product, quality, and delivery issues.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, both written and verbal.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in project coordination, project management, supply chain, product development, sourcing, or manufacturing support.
• Experience working with overseas manufacturers, particularly in Asia.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, sourcing, product development, and supply chain processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, International Business, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams across different time zones.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work outside standard business hours as needed to coordinate with international teams and suppliers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with disposable medical devices, medical consumables, healthcare products, or other regulated products.
• Experience with OEM or private-label manufacturing.
• Experience with product costing, supplier management, forecasting, inventory planning, or international logistics.
