Job summary

Deloitte’s AI & Engineering team is seeking a Project - Software Engineer III to help operationalize analytic methods into deployed applications across on-prem and cloud environments. You will collaborate with data scientists, developers, and end users in an Agile setting while mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Helm), Docker, and Kubernetes, and an active TS/SCI clearance. On-site in downtown Tampa, FL is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub, Helm.
• 3+ years of container tech with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience on Agile software teams.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• On-site work in downtown Tampa, Florida (up to 5 days/week).
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Work you'll do

As a Project - Software Engineer III on the AI & Engineering team, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with data scientists, developers, domain specialists, and end users to operationalize analytic methodologies into deployed applications
• Developing, deploying, and supporting solutions across on-premises and cloud environments
• Contributing to software engineering activities that support project delivery objectives
• Working in a collaborative delivery environment that uses Agile methods
• Providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools, including Jenkins, GitHub, and Helm
• 3+ years of experience with container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working on Agile software development teams
• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
• Ability to work on-site in downtown Tampa, Florida up to 5 days per week
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

• Experience with Terraform, Puppet, or other infrastructure as code or configuration management tools
• Experience scripting with PowerShell
• Experience working in Linux environments
• Experience working in high-side environments
