Job summary

Deloittea0GPS team in the United States seeks a Lead Software Engineer to drive full-stack development for mission-focused client work in Tampa, FL. You0will lead a skilled team of developers, data scientists, and engineers, architect solutions, and oversee production deployments in secure environments.

Strong expertise in ReactJS, Python, NoSQL, Vector/Graph databases, Docker, and Kubernetes, plus TS/SCI clearance, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development using the following technologies (ReactJS, Python, NoSQL, Vector or Graph Databases, Docker and Kubernetes).
• Experience with API design (REST, API versioning, validation, pagination, error handling, etc.).
• Experience leading application development teams.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required
• Must be able to work 100% onsite in Tampa, FL
• Ability to travel up to 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Responsibilities

Work You’ll Do

• Lead application development for a team of approximately 10 developers, engineers, and data scientists supporting mission-focused client work

Preferred:

• Experience supporting government clients in secure delivery environments
• Experience developing generative artificial intelligence-enabled applications
• Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP)
• Knowledge of Application Security (OAuth 2.0/2.1, OpenID Connect, MFA, secure session handling, and JWT risks)
• Experience with CI/CD and release engineering
• Experience translating requirements into prototypes and production-ready solutions
• Experience collaborating with data scientists and cross-functional technical teams
• Experience leading multiple concurrent technical projects
