Job summary

FALK Panel in Walker, MI is seeking a Project Services Manager to lead Estimating and Project Management from quote to production handoff. The role combines people leadership with process design and KPI accountability, and will drive adoption of new technologies including AI tools to scale the department.

You will mentor Estimators and Project Managers across all tiers, develop growth plans, and ensure alignment with FALK's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in estimating, project management, or related construction/building products role, including 2+ years in people-management.
• Demonstrated ability to build or improve business processes at scale.
• Experience championing or implementing new technology/software within a team (ERP, CRM, AI tools, or similar).
• Strong understanding of pre-engineered metal building or insulated metal panel construction preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold team members accountable.
• Ability to work autonomously with initiative and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and develop Estimators/Inside Sales and Project Managers across every tier (Estimator, Senior Estimator, Lead Estimator; Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Lead Project Manager).
• Create individualized growth plans for each team member with skill gaps and milestones.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions on technical skill and culture.
• Own onboarding and training for new Estimators and Project Managers.
• Evaluate and promote based on demonstrated competency, performance, and readiness.
• Set and review team performance goals and conduct formal reviews.
• Foster collaboration, accountability, and high communication across departments.
• Hire, train, and manage personnel within the Estimating & Project Management department.
