Job summary

Summit Line Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Scheduler to develop and maintain detailed Primavera P6 CPM schedules for high‑voltage transmission and substation projects.

You will work with management, project managers, field supervision, and procurement to ensure milestones are met on time and within budget. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent scheduling experience, plus at least 3 years in project scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field, OR equivalent demonstrated construction scheduling or project controls experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in electrical infrastructure construction.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, including the ability to independently build, baseline, update, analyze, and report an assigned project schedule.
• Working knowledge of CPM, including predecessor/successor logic, constraints, float analysis, and critical path.
• Experience establishing schedule baselines and performing progress, variance, and float analysis.
• Experience preparing schedule narratives and supporting TIAs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed Primavera P6 CPM schedules to meet milestones and budget.
• Collaborate with management, project managers, field supervision, and procurement to ensure smooth execution.
• Track baseline schedules and update weekly; monitor progress and propose corrective actions.
• Perform total float and critical path analysis during updates and flag negative float.
• Produce schedule QA/QC, TIAs for change orders, and ensure alignment with contract requirements.
• Prepare monthly schedule narratives and owner reporting packages.
