Job summary

Summit Line Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Scheduler to develop and maintain Primavera P6 CPM schedules for high-voltage transmission, distribution, and substation projects.

The role requires collaboration with management, project managers, field supervision, and procurement to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent scheduling experience, 3+ years of scheduling, and strong CPM knowledge, with emphasis on baselines, TIAs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrated scheduling experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project scheduling.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 with ability to build, baseline, update, analyze, and report schedules.
• Knowledge of CPM, including predecessor/successor logic, constraints, float, and critical path.
• Experience establishing schedule baselines and performing progress, variance, and float analysis.
• Experience preparing schedule narratives and supporting TIAs.
• Familiarity with WBS development, resource loading, and contractual schedule submittal requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills with a focus on safety and project excellence.

Responsibilities

• Schedule development: build, baseline, and maintain master schedules; create 3-week look-ahead schedules.
• Tracking: update baselines weekly and monitor deviations; propose corrective actions.
• Reporting: generate schedule narratives and TIAs; communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Material coordination: align material lead times and deliveries with schedule milestones.
• Consultation: collaborate with project managers and field teams to align crew assignments with the schedule.
