Job summary

Summit Line Construction seeks a Project Scheduler to develop and maintain detailed Primavera P6 schedules for high‑voltage transmission, distribution, and substation projects. You will work with management, project managers, field supervision and procurement to ensure milestones are met on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in scheduling, 3+ years of experience, and strong CPM, data analysis, and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent scheduling experience as described.
• Minimum 3 years of project scheduling experience, preferably in electrical infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 for baseline, update, analysis and reporting.
• Strong grasp of CPM with predecessor/successor logic and float analysis.
• Experience establishing baselines and performing progress reporting.
• Experience preparing TIAs and schedule narratives.
• Familiarity with WBS development and contractual submittals.
• Strong analytical and collaborative skills with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time to meet milestones.
• Develop and maintain master schedules and 3-week look‑ahead plans.
• Create activity logic in Primavera P6 and establish baselines.
• Track progress, analyze variances and perform critical path analysis.
• Prepare TIAs for change orders and weather impacts.
• Coordinate with management, field teams, and procurement.
• Generate reports and communicate updates to stakeholders.
