Job summary

Summit Line Construction, headquartered in Heber City, Utah, is seeking a Project Scheduler to develop and manage detailed Primavera P6 CPM schedules for high-voltage transmission, distribution, and substation projects across the western region.

The role requires collaboration with management and field crews to ensure milestones are met on time and within budget, plus producing TIAs and narrative reports for change orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, OR equivalent demonstrated construction scheduling or project controls experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in the electrical infrastructure construction industry.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, including the ability to independently build, baseline, update, analyze, and report an assigned project schedule.
• Working knowledge of CPM, including predecessor and successor logic, constraint use, total float, and critical path identification.
• Experience establishing and maintaining schedule baselines and performing progress, variance, and float analysis.
• Experience preparing schedule narratives and supporting TIAs.
• Familiarity with resource loading, WBS development, and contractual schedule submittal requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with a focus on safety and project excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed Primavera P6 CPM schedules to meet milestones and budget.
• Collaborate with management, PMs, field supervision, and procurement to ensure smooth project execution.
• Break master schedules into 3-week look-ahead schedules and coordinate with crews.
• Build activity logic in Primavera P6 with proper predecessor/successor relationships.
• Establish schedule baselines and conduct TIAs for changes and weather events.
• Maintain WBS and perform resource loading for crew planning and manpower forecasting.
• Generate reports and communicate updates to stakeholders.
