Job summary

Pacifico Energy, a global energy infrastructure firm, is seeking a Project Scheduler/Planner to support its data center project portfolio, developing, coordinating, and optimizing schedules across pre-construction, procurement, construction, commissioning and turnover.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with engineering, EPC, operations, and external partners; data center experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of proven experience in project scheduling, planning, or coordination.
• Experience in power systems, gas power generation, renewable energy, or large infrastructure construction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 (P6 preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using project management software, considering resources and milestones.
• Coordinate the allocation of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Identify scheduling risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate delays and minimize disruptions to project progress.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to align schedules and communicate effectively.
• Monitor project progress against schedules, track KPIs, and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of project schedules, resource allocations, and schedule changes or deviations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in scheduling and planning methodologies, and implement best practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations in all scheduling activities.

We are seeking a dedicated Project Scheduler/Planner to support our portfolio of power generation projects for Data Centers. The Project Scheduler/Planner will play a critical role in developing, coordinating, and optimizing project schedules across all phases of data center execution, including pre-construction, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover. This position requires strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, EPC, operations, and external partners. Experience supporting data center projects is highly preferred.

What you bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree will also be considered.
• 8+ years of proven experience in project scheduling, planning, or coordination, preferably in the power systems, gas power generation, renewable energy or large infrastructure construction industry.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 (P6 preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively under pressure.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance requirements.
