Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Business.
• In lieu of education, 4 years relevant experience.
• College coursework or equivalent in CPM scheduling fundamentals.
• Experience with transportation construction.
• Earned Value Method (EVM) basic knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine scheduling assignments requiring knowledge of basic scheduling principles.
• Updates schedules with input from more experienced schedulers.
• Maintains and updates progress on basic schedules.
• Performs basic schedule reporting.
• Performs preliminary schedule analysis focusing on critical activities, risk areas, milestones and trends.
• Develops key focus areas for project manager.
• Prepares routine reporting from schedules, communicating status.
• Analyzes contract/construction documents to translate scope, milestones, contract time and sequencing into the schedule.
• Assists project team in planning the work, including WBS development, duration estimation, and sequencing.
