Job summary

CMTS, LLC is hiring a Construction Scheduler for Columbus, OH to develop and manage project timelines, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to keep large infrastructure programs on schedule.

The role is full-time, on-site in Columbus, requiring six years of scheduling experience and advanced Primavera P6 and MS Office skills. Expect detailed progress tracking, risk analysis, and formal reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• OR Bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited institution, supplemented by a minimum of six (6) additional years of Construction Scheduling experience in lieu of the specified degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret detailed construction documents to understand project scope.
• Review Primavera P6 baseline schedules for gaps, logic, milestones, and cost-loading; provide formalized comments.
• Evaluate monthly contractor schedule updates and document delays and impacts.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of contractor schedule submittals for contractual compliance.
• Develop EVM curves and perform CPM and earned value analyses to assess schedule performance.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and recommend mitigation to improve timelines.
• Generate KPI analyses from Primavera schedules and EVM data with variance recovery recommendations.
• Conduct time impact analyses using Window Analysis methodologies.
