Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a Project Scheduler to develop, maintain, and analyze schedules for infrastructure projects in Akron, OH. You will work with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure schedule progress and deliverables meet quality standards.

The role requires strong Oracle Primavera P6 proficiency, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple schedules across projects onsite in Akron with 12-month contract expectations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or business administration from an accredited program.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience and travel ability with a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to develop, update, and maintain schedules using Primavera P6 and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain level 1 to level 2 schedules in Oracle Primavera P6.
  • Create WBS, activities, and activity codes; develop resource-loaded schedules.
  • Generate reports in Primavera P6; identify schedule risks and mitigation.
  • Integrate schedule data with Excel, Power BI, and related tools.
  • Communicate progress to project managers and engineers across transmission, distribution, substation, and telecom projects.

Contract Details
  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 12 months
  • Pay Rate: $45.00–$48.00 / Hour (USD)

Job Summary

This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules in support of complex infrastructure projects — including transmission & distribution line, substation, and/or telecommunication projects. The Project Scheduler works closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to communicate technical schedule progress and ensure project controls deliverables meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, update, and maintain level 1 to level 2 schedules in Oracle Primavera P6
  • Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activities, and activity codes
  • Develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules
  • Utilize constraints, lags, and leads effectively
  • Generate reports, layouts, and filters in Oracle Primavera P6
  • Identify schedule drivers, delays, and opportunities
  • Responsible for performing quality checks and inspections on project controls deliverables
  • Ability to communicate and understand technical progress of project schedules with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders regarding transmission & distribution line, substation, and/or telecommunication projects
  • Ability to integrate and analyze schedule data and information from other sources in Excel via formulas, pivot tables, macros, Power Query, Power BI, etc.
  • Identify logic errors, sequencing issues, or incorrect durations
  • Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation issues
  • Ability to handle multiple schedules across different projects
