Job summary

Sterling Industrial LLC in Point Pleasant, WV, is seeking a Project Scheduler to join our multi-craft team on site. The role coordinates with the Assistant Project Manager and construction engineers to develop and maintain the project baseline schedule, ensuring timely progress and reporting.

This position requires travel/relocation to job sites out of state, CPM scheduling expertise, Primavera P6 proficiency, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years heavy civil construction scheduler experience.
• Strong communication abilities and teamwork.
• Understanding of CPM scheduling techniques.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to prioritize, self-start, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with clear verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update project schedules using scheduling software.
• Contribute to weekly/monthly project reports and client meetings.
• Coordinate with Construction Engineers and Craft Superintendents on activities.
• Develop baseline schedule and monitor delays, impacts, and variances.
• Ensure integration between master and sub-project schedules and progress tracking.
