Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Scheduler to support the planning and execution of key projects. This role is responsible for organizing, implementing, and maintaining a scheduling management system to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience with Primavera P6, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Set up and manage tasks and sub-tasks to meet project contract requirements.
• Log and update project timelines and task statuses in the P6 database.
• Generate and distribute scheduled reports for contract coordination and progress tracking.
• Collaborate with project staff and stakeholders to coordinate work assignments.
• Define scope of work and update schedules based on team and contractor input.
• Monitor schedule progress, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze critical paths and constraints to optimize project timelines.
• Work closely with superintendents, field engineers, and project managers to update weekly schedules.
• Support change management processes and maintain effective documentation.
• Assist in preparing periodic status reports for management.
• Conduct schedule recovery analysis and propose alternative solutions when needed.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Primavera P6, including layouts, activity codes, resources, grouping/sorting, and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to participate actively in project and departmental meetings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP, PSP, CST, or other PMI/AACEI certifications (preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with Schedule Quality practices and Project Gating procedures.
• Experience with SQL coding is a plus.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Prior experience in project scheduling or project controls is highly desirable.
