Crawford Electric Supply is hiring a Project Quotations Specialist in Houston, TX. The role focuses on self-directed bidding for project jobs and delivering accurate quotations for standard and non-standard merchandise.

You will negotiate terms, prepare submittals, and support customers and sales teams regionally. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) or 2–4 years of related experience, plus strong MS Office and Excel skills, and excellent written, verbal, and negotiation abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) and/or two to four years’ equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience as a contractor inside salesperson or manager of lighting projects and/or electrical distribution and control projects.
• PC literate with knowledge of MS Office; strong Excel skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Self-directed ownership and bidding on project jobs.
• Manage and provide written quotations or estimates of prices, terms and delivery for standard, complex or non-standard merchandise.
• Negotiate jobs, prepare and send submittals.
• Respond to customer and salespeople on applications and operation of projects across a region.
• Assist with planning and presenting training programs for customers and salespersons.
• Complete write up and release of job to project management.
• Resolve customer order problems and complaints promptly.
• Prepare correspondence and reports for business transactions.
