Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply Company in Houston is seeking a Project Quotations Specialist to own the bidding process for project jobs, prepare quotes, and coordinate with the sales team. The role involves negotiating terms, sending submittals, and ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries across the region.

You will assist with training programs for customers and sales staff, complete job write-ups for project management, and resolve order issues while maintaining strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• MS Office proficiency with strong Excel skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and negotiation abilities.
• Great customer service orientation.
• Experience as contractor inside salesperson or manager of lighting/electrical projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Self -directed ownership and bidding on project jobs.
• Manage and provide written quotations or estimates of prices, terms and delivery for standard, complex or non-standard merchandise.
• Negotiate jobs, prepare and send submittals.
• Responds to requests from customers and salespeople on matters pertaining to the application and operation of various projects throughout a region and satisfactorily address.
• Assists with the planning and presentation of training programs and other professional growth opportunities for customers and salespersons in the planning, installation, and operations of various projects.
• Complete write up and send final release of job to project management
• Resolves customer order problems and complaints promptly.
• Prepare correspondence and reports necessary for business transactions.

Qualifications

• Prefer Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) and/or two to four years’ equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have experience as a contractor inside salesperson or manager of lighting projects and/or electrical distribution and control projects.
• PC literate with knowledge of MS Office; strong Excel skills
• Excellent written, verbal and negotiation skills.
• Great customer service
