Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality programs on capital projects. You will surveil contractor and supplier quality, review QC plans, and track audit findings to closure, reporting to the project quality lead.

This role blends field work with document review, alternating weeks between site surveillance and records. A valid driver's license and ability to travel are required; Texas-based roles dispatch from Sugar Land, with project-site

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• A certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps.
• Clear written reporting.
• Organized under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
