Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager I on the owner/engineering side of capital projects. You will perform surveillance of contractor and supplier quality activities, review QC plans, ITPs, and inspection records, and track audit findings to closure.

This entry-level role leads toward Project Quality Manager II, with expected travel and per diem as assigned; a valid driver’s license is required; you will report to the project quality lead and provide weekly quality

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• A certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and identifying gaps.
• Clear written reporting and being organized in document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
