Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to join the owner-side quality program on a capital project. You will perform surveillance of contractor and supplier activities, review QC plans and records, and report quality status to the project quality lead.

This role suits an inspector or QC engineer who wants to influence quality from the requirements side. You will alternate between fieldwork and documentation, witness hold points, close audit findings, and maintain

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• a certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps
• Clear written reporting
• organized under document-heavy work

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager
