Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager I to support owner's quality program on capital projects. The role focuses on surveillance, documenting quality requirements, and ensuring contractor and supplier conformance, with growth toward ownership of surveillance activities.

You will interact with project teams, review QC plans, and assist in closing audit findings while reporting to the project quality lead. A valid driver’s license and site presence are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles
• a certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps
• Clear written reporting
• organized under document-heavy work

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager
