Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality on a capital project. You will oversee surveillance of contractor and supplier activities, review QC plans and records, and report quality status to the project lead.

This role is suited for someone who wants to shape quality requirements from the write-review side. Your week blends field observations with document review, tracking audit findings to closure and coordinating with the project team to

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• A certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps.
• Clear written reporting and organization under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
