Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I on the owner side to support the quality program on capital projects. You will perform surveillance of contractor and supplier quality, review documentation, track audit findings to closure, and report status to the project quality lead.

Your role sits between field and documentation, combining review of inspections with active field surveillance, and supporting the project quality lead with evidenced records and test data.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps.
• Clear written reporting.
• Organized under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
