Verdantas, a leader in environmental consulting and sustainable engineering, seeks a Civil Infrastructure Senior Project Manager to drive municipal projects and build trusted client relationships in Northeast Ohio. You will guide projects from planning through construction, balancing scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• PE license required or able to obtain in Ohio.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in municipal or civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong client relationships and service-minded approach.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for municipal clients across Northeast Ohio, building strong relationships.
• Lead projects from early planning through design and construction, managing scope, schedule and budget.
• Support infrastructure improvements that benefit local communities.
• Collaborate across disciplines and coordinate internal teams and subconsultants.
• Prepare proposals, attend public meetings, and represent the team to stakeholders.
• Mentor teammates and help implement QA/QC for delivery excellence.

What You'll Do

• Be a trusted partner to local communities - Serve as the primary point of contact for municipal clients across Northeast Ohio, building strong, lasting relationships
• Lead impactful projects - Take projects from early planning through design and construction, managing scope, schedule, and budget with confidence
• Work locally, make a difference locally - Support infrastructure improvements that directly impact communities in and around Mentor
• Collaborate across disciplines - Lead and coordinate internal teams and subconsultants to deliver high-quality results
• Be visible and influential - Prepare proposals, attend public meetings, and represent the team in front of community stakeholders
• Develop people and process excellence - Support team growth through mentorship and help drive QA/QC practices that ensure top-tier delivery

What You Bring

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio (or ability to obtain)
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in municipal or civil infrastructure projects
• Strong client relationship skills and a service-oriented mindset
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A proactive, team-first attitude with a desire to take ownership
• Experience with municipal infrastructure projects (planning, funding, design, or construction)

Salary Range:

The starting salary for this position is $100,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.
