Job summary

Perry Homes in Houston, TX is seeking a Project Planner to process new home starts, ensure submittal accuracy, and coordinate the timely release of homes to meet company goals. This role works closely with Division Presidents, Construction teams and other departments to support essential processes for successful project execution.

You will foster partnerships with municipalities and developers, manage starts for assigned markets, and continuously improve the flow of releases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience required.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing project schedules.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Foster and maintain relationships with municipalities and developers through regular meetings and travel.
• Manage and process new home starts for assigned markets.
• Strategically evaluate processing of new starts to achieve goals and ensure even release flow.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Identify issues and implement effective solutions to maintain progress of starts.
• Review NHS tools (Community Matrix, How-To guides, Site Planner Matrix) and keep them up-to-date.
