Job summary

HANSONS LLC in Troy, MI is seeking a Project Operations Manager to lead our Project and Branch Coordinator teams and drive execution across locations. You will manage project readiness through installation, ensure capacity usage, and drive revenue while keeping customers informed and issues resolved swiftly.

You will leverage data to optimize workflows, monitor KPIs, and implement improvements across operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in operations, project coordination, scheduling, or related field.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing performance via KPIs, dashboards, or scorecards.
• Ability to identify problems, own them, and drive solutions.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
• High sense of urgency, accountability, and follow-through.
• Experience supporting multiple locations or markets is a plus.
• Power BI experience is a plus.
• Experience in home improvement, construction, installation, or high-volume operations is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maximize available installation capacity and help drive install revenue performance.
• Monitor operational KPIs, aging projects, collections, and other KPIs.
• Allocate team resources based on workload, priorities, and customer needs.
• Create clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable.
• Identify and resolve barriers that cause projects or revenue to stall.
• Partner closely with General Managers, Service, Permits, installation teams, and other leaders.
• Improve workflows and identify opportunities to streamline or automate processes.
• Lead the team through evolving processes, systems, and business needs.

HANSONS is looking for a Project Operations Manager to lead our Project Coordinator and Branch Coordinator teams and drive execution across our growing, multi-location home improvement business.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to lead people, manage through data, solve operational problems, and create accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Your mission is simple: keep projects moving.

You'll lead the teams responsible for helping customer projects progress from project readiness through installation and collection—ensuring available work gets scheduled, installation capacity is utilized, revenue is realized, customers are communicated with, and operational barriers are resolved quickly.

What You'll Own

• High sense of urgency, accountability, and follow-through
• Experience supporting multiple locations or markets is a plus
• Power BI experience is a plus
• Experience in home improvement, construction, installation, field service, or another high-volume operational environment is strongly preferred.
