This position reports to

Project Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to play an essential role in the growth of the business by providing a cohesive project management strategy to assure adequate levels of project profitability, risk mitigation, issue containment, and instill a relentless pursuit of process excellence to ensure a positive customer experience. You will also demonstrate your expertise by coordinating and overseeing team development and standardized process development to continually improve the effectiveness of Project Execution teams. The work model for this role is hybrid, based in Houston, TX, or Lake Mary, FL (#LI-Hybrid). This role contributes to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in North America. Main responsibilities include:

1. Leading a group of project managers in project execution, ensuring compliance with ABB's code of conduct, contract scope, technical requirements, timely delivery, quality, project profitability, and cash collection.
2. Implementing continuous improvements in the project execution strategy for local or regional operations.
3. Developing customer relationships by maintaining close contact with clients and project stakeholders, resolving issues, and seeking additional business opportunities.
4. Overseeing the local Project Execution team, ensuring adherence to ABB policies.

Qualifications for the role

• 5+ years of experience in operational or customer-facing roles
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred
• Strong leadership and relationship-building skills
• Ability to travel domestically approximately 25%
• PMP certification preferred
• Work authorization to work in the US required
