Job description

Project Manager, Operational Integration

R1 is the leading provider of technology-driven solutions that transform the patient experience and financial performance of hospitals, health systems, and medical groups. We combine the expertise of a global workforce of revenue cycle professionals with an advanced technology platform, including analytics, AI, automation, and workflow orchestration.

As a Project Manager in Operational Integration, you will be a key member of the Operational Enablement and Integration (OEI) team. Your responsibilities include onboarding new clients, standardizing operations, and leading continuous improvement projects to support Shared Services and the Central Business Office. You will focus on integrating newly signed clients into the R1 shared services organization and implementing R1 standards and best practices. Additional focus areas include operational efficiency reviews for existing clients. You will partner with leaders across departments to identify, manage, and review projects for effectiveness.

Working as a Project Manager, you will:

  • Collaborate with shared services and onboarding teams to successfully integrate new clients into the R1 ecosystem.
  • Lead strategic projects to improve efficiency, quality, and operational metrics.
  • Execute improvement projects ensuring optimized processes and measurable results.
  • Assess opportunities and select projects based on customer needs and business goals.
  • Work with managers and executives to deploy process improvements and new technologies.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts and resources to meet strategic objectives.

Required Skills:

  • 1-3 years of experience, preferably in project management and revenue cycle operations.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex requirements to diverse audiences and translate feedback into actionable insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, tracking, and risk mitigation.
  • Experience in revenue cycle management or operations.

The position offers a base salary ranging from $59,282 to $110,424.03 annually, with eligibility for an annual bonus of 10%. Compensation depends on role, experience, skills, and location.
