Job summary

Stratus® is seeking a Project Operations Analyst to support project managers and leaders with day-to-day operational and project delivery activities, emphasizing setup, forecasting, and cost management across multiple markets. The role requires collaborating with finance and leadership, delivering timely analyses and reports, and improving delivery tools.

The position offers a hybrid work model in the United States with strong emphasis on process improvement, financial analysis, and ERP

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in project controls, operations coordination, or PMO support within AEC or professional services.
• Hands-on experience supporting PMs with project setup, cost management, and forecasting.
• Strong analytical ability and Excel skills; experience with financial modeling and performance reporting.
• Familiarity with PMI project management frameworks and lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers with project setup, cost tracking, forecasting, EAC analysis, and reviews
• Monitor portfolio performance including margin variance, unbilled, and A/R
• Provide financial and operational analysis to leadership for decision-making
• Prepare monthly financial reports, quarterly forecasts, and budgets
• Assist with opportunity tracking, pricing models, and risk management
• Serve as a day-to-day resource and advisor on policies and tools
• Develop job aids, tracking tools, and templates to improve PM workflows
• Collaborate with finance and operations to ensure accurate project data in ERP and reporting systems
