Job summary

Stratus® is seeking a Project Engineer I to contribute to complex design tasks and manage portions of projects. You will work closely with senior engineers to ensure designs meet technical and regulatory requirements while collaborating across disciplines to integrate building systems.

Responsibilities include creating detailed drawings, performing analyses and simulations, and participating in project management activities to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 3–4 years of engineering design and project delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of engineering designs for complex components of projects, including preparing detailed technical drawings and calculations.
• Perform engineering analyses, calculations, and simulations to verify that designs meet client, code, and regulatory requirements.
• Use design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) to create detailed models, schematics, and construction documents that align with project specifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure the seamless integration of building systems.
• Attend client and team meetings to present design concepts, provide technical updates, and address project concerns.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve technical issues on-site, and ensure that design intent is being followed during execution.
