Stratus is seeking a Project Operations Analyst to support project managers and leadership with daily operational and project delivery activities. This role focuses on project setup, forecasting, cost management, and performance reporting across multiple markets.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years in project controls or PMO support within AEC or professional services, with strong Excel and ERP skills. The position offers a hybrid work model and opportunities for growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in project controls, operations coordination, or PMO support within AEC or professional services.
• Hands-on experience supporting PMs with project setup, cost management, and forecasting.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with financial modeling, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
• Proficiency with Deltek Vantagepoint, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms.
• Working knowledge of PMI project management frameworks and lifecycle.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across project teams and business units.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers with project setup, cost tracking, forecasting, estimate at completion (EAC) analysis, and project reviews.
• Monitor project portfolio performance including margin variance, unbilled, and A/R, and partner with PMs to address issues proactively.
• Provide financial and operational analysis to division and market leadership to support decision-making and performance improvement.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, quarterly forecasts, and preliminary project budgets for assigned markets or business units.
• Assist with opportunity and pursuit tracking, project execution pricing models, and risk management activities.
• Serve as a day-to-day resource and advocate for project managers, providing guidance on company policies, procedures, and project delivery tools.
• Develop job aids, tracking tools, and templates that simplify project delivery workflows and improve PM compliance.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely project data in ERP and reporting systems.
