Job summary

Scripps Health in San Diego is seeking a part-time Project Manager to plan, execute, and finalize projects within budget and deadlines across the health system.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of management, engineering, or analysis experience, strong facilitation and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Project. This is a partially remote position funded through 2030.

Job description

This is a part time, hourly, partial remote position that is grant funded through 2030.

Plans, executes, and finalizes projects impacting the Scripps Health system according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of progressively responsible experience in management engineering, project management, consulting, and/or analysis. Experience leading and facilitating work teams, with superior facilitation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analysis. Proficiency with: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Project. Comprehensive understanding of project management, process redesign, and/or performance improvement related methodology and tools, and demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: Master's degree, experience within a multi-facility health care system.

Pay Range

Minimum Rate (USD): 46.85 Maximum Rate (USD): 67.94
