Job summary

Energy Solutions, LLC is seeking a Project Manager for civil demolition in San Clemente, CA. You will plan, execute and close projects, coordinating contractors and consultants to meet budget and schedule.

Responsibilities include resource acquisition, stakeholder liaison, scope change management, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Leadership of project staff and potential act as Project Director when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• CAPM certification required or equivalent; PE/FE preferred.
• 10 years project management experience, 8 years in civil, demolition, decommissioning, or site grading.
• Heavy civil construction, site grading and/or demolition experience preferred.
• Radiological work experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads planning and implementation of projects, defining scope, goals and deliverables.
• Manages project staff, approves documentation, and ensures scope is met on schedule and budget.
• Liaises with project stakeholders on a routine basis.
• Manages scope changes and documents changes to the SOW, communicating to customer and management.
• Updates baseline budget and schedule; tracks costs and coordinates with accounting for invoices.
• Interfaces with client to provide monthly schedule, project and financial input to management.
• Ensures activities comply with DOT, NRC, OSHA standards and client procedures; maintains safe operations.
• Provides leadership to project personnel and acts as single point of contact; may fill Project Director role.

Responsible for acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members, including contractors and consultants, to deliver project according to plan.
