The Opportunity:
CCI is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Project Manager to support our Maritime Industrial Base Program. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of project execution, from planning and coordination to resolving technical issues and providing operational guidance. You’ll play a critical role in managing complex projects, liaising with cross-functional teams, and ensuring mission success in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure to ensure alignment with program objectives.
- Manage subcontractors, including developing Statements of Work, monitoring performance, managing deliverables, and maintaining project documentation in a complex environment.
- Lead projects at the individual order level, providing direction and leadership to cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate project activities across technical, operational, and administrative functions, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Resolve technical and operational issues collaboratively with stakeholders, including quality assurance, engineering, manufacturing, and program management.
- Provide operational guidance for current and future projects, maintaining close communication with stakeholders and customers.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure success.
- Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations for diverse audiences, including senior leadership and government stakeholders.
- Offer strategic advice and subject matter expertise to project teams, supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Consult with clients to define project requirements, assess risks, and recommend data-driven solutions to complex challenges.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- 3–10 years of relevant project management experience with a BA/BS or MA/MS degree; additional years of experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
- Proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion, including complex and mission-critical programs.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluations, recommendations, and process improvements.
- Experience providing strategic advice, technical guidance, and subject matter expertise.
- Experience consulting with clients to define requirements, analyze data, and recommend solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to travel for site visits, meetings, and outreach activities.

- Experience supporting high-visibility projects with complex deliverables and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of advanced project management principles, theories, and concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of the sponsor’s organization, mission, and partners.
- Experience with SmartSheets.
- PMP certification or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience in outreach, education, or training programs, preferably in maritime or industrial contexts (preferred).

Pay Range:
The salary range varies based on factors like location, experience, and certifications. The proposed range is $62,200 - $130,600. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, retirement, education, and time off. Learn more here.
