Job summary

MGC Contractors, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Texas Division.

You will work with the Project Superintendent to develop site logistics, monitor costs, and manage pay requests while fostering relationships with owners and subcontractors. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Construction Management and at least eight years of field experience, with proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills to respond quickly to inquiries and keep projects

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor degree in Construction Management or related Program required.
At least eight (8) years of construction field experience required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
Effective Communication Skills both oral and written, and quick response time to inquiries.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Project Superintendent in development of a project site logistics plan.
Oversee the pay request process.
Monitor project costs and job cost report.
Analyze and forecast total cost projections.
Monitor project labor.
Review and approve material and equipment needs.
Assist in estimating when bidding projects.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with owners, vendors, subcontractors.
Any and all other duties assigned.
