SERVPRO seeks a Water Restoration/Mitigation Technician to perform water, fire, smoke, and mold mitigation per SERVPRO guidelines. The technician responds to service calls, sets up efficient job flow, coordinates requirements, and documents progress while performing production work with safety procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel locally. IICRC certifications are preferred, along with weekend/on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Must have effective written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to travel locally or out of state when necessary.
• Ability to work in-person at job sites and on-call rotations.
• Valid driver's license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Complete mitigation/restoration production work and document progress per work orders.
• Perform water, fire, smoke, and mold mitigation and equipment setup.
• Monitor drying equipment and document moisture readings daily.
• Load and maintain vehicles with tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Prepare rooms and areas for work activities and setup staging areas.
• Communicate safety hazards and jobsite findings to supervisors.

JOBDESCRIPTION

TheMitigationTechniciancompleteswater,fire,smoke,andmoldmitigationjobsaccordingtoSERVPROprocessesperworkorder.TheTechnicianrespondstoservicecalls,setsupandestablishesefficientjobflow,coordinatestherequirementsforeachjob,completesjobdocumentation,andperformsproductionworkwhilefollowingandenforcingallsafetyproceduresonthejobsite.

PRIMARYRESPONSIBILITIES

• CompletejobsaccordingtoSERVPROprocessesperworkorder,performingproductionworkandcompletingjobdocumentation.
• Performandevaluatemitigation/restorationactivitiesincludingwaterextraction,firedamagecleanup,set-upofspecialtyequipment,anddemolition.
• Setupandmonitordryingequipmentanddocumentmoisturereadingsanddailyprogress.
• Load,inventory,andmaintainworkvehicleswithtools,equipment,andsuppliesforeachproject.
• Prepareroomsandareasforworkactivities;setupstagingareasandequipmentforeachproject.
• Effectivelycommunicatesafetyhazards,jobsitefindings,andequipment/toolrequirementstosupervisors.
• Communicatewithmanagementandothertechnicianstomaintainefficientproductionprocesses.
• Workasateamtoprovidequalityandefficientworkandperformproductionprocessesasdirected.

POSITIONREQUIREMENTS

• Highschooldiploma/GEDrequired.
• Experienceincleaning/restorationpreferred.
• IICRCcertificationsand/orpreviousfire/water/moldpropertyrestorationexperiencepreferred.
• Docusketchexperiencepreferred.
• Effectivewrittenandoralcommunicationskills.
• Validdriver'slicense,approvedbyourinsurancecompany,required.
• Abilitytotravellocallyoroutofstatewhennecessary.
• Mustbeabletoworkinpersonandtraveltojobsitesasneeded.Availableforweekendandafter-hourson-callrotation.
