Job summary

SERVPRO is seeking a Contents Project Manager to oversee contents projects from initial pack-out to final pack-back. The role involves leading crews in the field and warehouse, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining SERVPRO quality standards.

You will coordinate staging, inventory, cleaning, and storage, providing hands-on guidance while ensuring safety and efficiency on every job site. This role requires in-person work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior contents/restoration experience, including experience leading or directing a crew.
• Strong attention to detail and knowledge of contents handling, inventory, and cleaning processes.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day execution of contents projects from pack-out through pack-back.
• Provide clear direction, guidance, and real-time feedback to contents crews and technicians.
• Establish efficient job flow, staging areas, and coordinate requirements for each job.
• Perform and oversee pack-out, inventory, cleaning, storage, and pack-back of customer belongings.
• Ensure accurate documentation, photography, labeling, and tracking of all customer contents.
• Ensure crews follow SERVPRO processes and complete work per the work order and scope.

TheContentsProjectManageroverseestheday-to-dayexecutionofcontentsprojectsinthefieldandatthewarehouse,includingpack-out,cleaning,inventory,storage,andpack-backofcustomerbelongings.ReportingtotheContentsOperations/ProductionManager,thisisaleadroleresponsiblefordirectingcrewsonassignedjobs,ensuringworkisperformedcarefully,accurately,andtoSERVPROqualitystandards,andprovidinghands-onguidanceandfeedbacktotechnicians.Thispositionprovidesday-to-daydirectiontocrewsonthejobbutdoesnotcarryformalpersonnel-managementresponsibilitiessuchashiring,discipline,orperformancereviews.

PRIMARYRESPONSIBILITIES

• Overseetheday-to-dayexecutionofassignedcontentsprojectsfrompack-outthroughpack-back.
• Providecleardirection,guidance,andreal-timefeedbacktocontentscrewsandtechnicians.
• Establishefficientjobflow,setupstagingareas,andcoordinatetherequirementsforeachjob.
• Performandoverseepack-out,inventory,cleaning,storage,andpack-backofcustomerbelongings.
• Ensureaccuratedocumentation,photography,labeling,andtrackingofallcustomercontents.
• EnsurecrewsfollowSERVPROprocessesandcompleteallworkpertheworkorderandscope.
• MonitorproductionprogressagainstthescheduleandcommunicatestatustotheOperations/ProductionManagerandJobFileCoordinator.
• Identifysafetyhazards,communicatethem,andenforceallsafetyproceduresonthejobsiteandinthewarehouse.
• Reviewandensurecomplete,accuratejobfileandinventorydocumentation.
• Communicateprofessionallywithcustomers,adjusters,andotherstakeholdersregardingtheirbelongings.
• Monitorandcontroljobcosts,labortime,andmaterialusageonassignedprojects.
• Ensurepropercare,protection,andmaintenanceofequipment,tools,vehicles,andstorageareas.
• Resolveday-to-dayproductionissuesquicklyandescalateconcernstotheOperations/ProductionManagerasneeded.
• Ensurejobsitesandstorageareasareleftclean,secure,andorderly.
• Supportthetraininganddevelopmentoftechniciansbydemonstratingbestpracticesandsharingknowledge.

POSITIONREQUIREMENTS

• Priorcontents/restorationexperience,includingexperienceleadingordirectingacrew,preferred.
• Strongattentiontodetailandknowledgeofcontentshandling,inventory,andcleaningprocesses.
• Highschooldiploma/GEDrequired.
• IICRCcertificationsand/orpreviousfire/water/moldpropertyrestorationexperiencepreferred.
• Effectivewrittenandoralcommunicationskills.
• Strongorganizational,time-management,andproblem-solvingskills.
• Abilitytoleadanddirectcrewsonthejobsiteandprovideconstructiveday-to-dayfeedback.
• Docusketch experiencepreferred.
• Validdriver'slicense,approvedbyourinsurancecompany,required.
• Abilitytotravellocallyoroutofstatewhennecessary.
• Mustbeabletoworkinpersonandtraveltojobsitesasneeded.Availableforweekendandafter-hourson-callrotation.
• MustbeauthorizedtoworklawfullyintheUnitedStatesandabletosuccessfullycompleteabackgroundchecksubjecttoapplicablelaw.
