Job summary

Imperium Global seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead water and wastewater construction initiatives in North Carolina. You will oversee projects from preconstruction to closeout, work with owners, engineers, and subcontractors, and ensure safety, schedule, and profitability targets are met.

Qualifications

  • Previous Project Management experience with a General Contractor or Water/Wastewater Contractor.
  • Experience delivering water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations or similar heavy civil infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction schedules, budgets, contracts and subcontractor management.
  • Experience managing projects through the full construction lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of concrete, mechanical systems, process piping and underground utilities is beneficial.
  • Strong communication, leadership and client-management skills.
  • Knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 or similar construction management software.
  • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline is preferred but not essential.

  • Ensure projects meet company standards for safety, quality and profitability.
  • Support and mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers where required.

Job description

My client is an established Water/Wastewater General Contractor with a strong presence across North Carolina. Due to continued growth and a significant pipeline of upcoming projects, they are looking to hire an experienced Project Manager to join their team.

They specialize in the construction, expansion and rehabilitation of water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and associated utility infrastructure.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing water and wastewater construction projects from preconstruction through final completion. You will work closely with Superintendents, owners, engineers, subcontractors and internal project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.
