Job summary

Hatteras Capital Advisors is seeking a Project Manager with water treatment experience to lead planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater projects.

Qualifications

• Must have valid North Carolina Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 5–15+ years of water/wastewater project experience (water treatment plant design and municipal utility infrastructure).
• Experience presenting at conferences is a plus; relationships with municipalities/agencies are a plus; active in professional associations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, design, and construct water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Lead multiple water treatment projects including treatment, distribution, and storage.
• Manage budgets, schedules, QA/QC, proposals, and presentations; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Engage in business development and client interaction; mentor junior staff and supervise drawings/specifications/bid packages.

We have an opportunity for a Project Manager with Water Treatment experience. This opportunity is with an established full service civil engineering firm. They are a leader in water, wastewater and infrastructure.

Requirements

• Must be North Carolina PE with least 5 to 15+ years of relevant water or wastewater project experience (water treatment plant design and municipal utility infrastructure)
• Experience presenting at conferences a plus
• Relationships with State and Local municipalities, agencies a plus
• Active in professional associations a plus

Responsibilities

• In this role you will be responsible for planning, project management, design, and construction of water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Lead multiple Water Treatment projects (water treatment, distribution, and storage)
• Project Management; planning, design, construction on water treatment projects (project budget, scheduling, production, quality control, proposals, presentations…)
• Ensure requirements and deliverables are met on time and within budget
• Business development, client interaction
• Team management; mentoring and teaching junior staff, QA/QC
• Supervise preparation of drawings, specifications and bid packages
• Mentor and develop junior-level staff, fostering their professional growth
