Job summary

Moseley Architects seeks a Project Manager for our Virginia Beach office. You will lead project development, coordinate with clients and consultants, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the expected quality.

You will oversee design development, scheduling, and collaboration across a multidisciplinary team, with opportunities for mentoring and career growth in a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of commercial building design in Revit and prior small to mid-sized project management experience.
• Strong background of how a building goes together with outstanding communication for project coordination and client engagement.
• Architectural license is preferred not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to develop project designs from conceptual sketches through construction documents.
• Manage multiple small to medium size projects, coordinating all aspects of assigned projects.
• Balance client expectations within contractual, budget, and quality constraints.
• Develop and design project schedules to meet obligations and team size.
• Supervise, coordinate, and assess the work of project team members to ensure quality and progress.
• Communicate with all project participants including internal team, clients, owners, and consultants clearly.
• Be available to clients through outreach and site visits.
• Foster positive professional relationships among clients and team members.
• Mentor and coach emerging professionals.
• Prepare, participate, and lead client presentations.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Moseley is seeking a full-time Project Manager in our Virginia Beach office. As design leaders, our Project Managers are involved in all aspects of project development working regularly with the client/owner and overseeing the success of an AEC project team. You'll provide direction to colleagues and consultants at all levels to ensure the project is completed as planned, budgeted, and scheduled. What’s needed:

7-10+ years of commercial building design in Revit and prior small to mid-sized project management experience. • Actively makes oneself available to clients through outreach initiatives and site visits.
• Foster and maintain positive professional working relationships among clients and team members.
• Participate in mentoring and coaching of emerging professionals.
• Prepares, participates, and leads client presentations.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Capable of working in a collaborative team environment to meet specific deadlines
• Diligence in monitoring progress, identifying potential problems and designing solutions as necessary.
• Expertise in architectural building systems.
• Proficient knowledge of applicable sustainability principles.
• Knowledge of quality control processes
• Strong ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, including client interaction and presentation delivery.
• Firm understanding of design trends, construction methodology, and material application.

Software Proficiencies:

• Microsoft Office Suite experience required
• Understanding of Autodesk Revit (BIM) preferred
• Bluebeam experience required

Compensation: $90,000-$115,000. Annual salary is commensurate with education & experience.
