Job summary

Pickett, an ESP Associates company, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee technical and financial aspects of diverse projects, build and sustain client relationships, and market Pickett’s services to clients.

You will coordinate with engineering leads, develop financial controls reports, and report progress, costs, schedules and risks across a portfolio. The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline (preferred)
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of related experience (required)
• PE registration or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (required)
• Previous project management experience with a utility or engineering consulting firm is highly desired
• Experience in transmission line design and management (preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Some travel is required

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical and financial aspects of multiple projects
• Develop and manage client relationships and market Pickett’s services
• Coordinate with Engineering Leads to track client deliverables
• Prepare bid documents, RFP responses, and cost estimates
• Support marketing with proposals, including scope, schedule, and budgets
• Produce comprehensive and technical project reports
• Assist with monthly invoicing and accounts receivable
• Perform other duties as needed
