Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager for underground utilities in Minnesota. Lead complex water, wastewater, sewer, and pipeline projects from planning through delivery, managing budgets, schedules, procurement, and contracts.

Collaborate with owners, subs, vendors, and engineering teams to ensure safety, quality, and on‑time performance. You will oversee project meetings, maintain client relationships, and travel as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction project management, heavy civil/underground utilities.
• Experience with underground utility, water, wastewater, sewer, or pipelines.
• Strong budgeting, cost forecasting, cost control, change orders, profitability understanding.
• Experience developing and maintaining project schedules and coordinating activities.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Job Details

• 5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably within heavy civil or underground utility construction.
• Experience managing underground utility, water, wastewater, sewer, pipeline, or similar infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of project financials, including budgets, cost forecasting, cost control, change orders, and profitability.
• Experience developing and maintaining project schedules and coordinating project activities from start to finish.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, engineers, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
• Experience with underground utility construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to lead project meetings and maintain strong relationships with owners and clients.
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar construction technology is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent construction experience will be considered.
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel based on project requirements.
