Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager for underground utilities to lead complex infrastructure projects from preconstruction through completion.

The role requires 5+ years' PM experience in heavy civil/underground utilities, strong budgeting and scheduling skills, and the ability to manage subcontractors and stakeholders. On-site work in MN with travel as needed; OSHA 30 preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably heavy civil or underground utilities.
• Experience managing underground utility, water, wastewater, sewer, pipeline projects.
• Strong understanding of project financials: budgets, forecasting, cost control, change orders, profitability.
• Experience developing and maintaining project schedules and coordinating activities start to finish.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, vendors, engineers, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of plans, specs, contracts, and project documentation.
• Experience with underground utility construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to lead project meetings and maintain relationships with owners/clients.
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred.

Job Details

• 5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably within heavy civil or underground utility construction.
• Experience managing underground utility, water, wastewater, sewer, pipeline, or similar infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of project financials, including budgets, cost forecasting, cost control, change orders, and profitability.
• Experience developing and maintaining project schedules and coordinating project activities from start to finish.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, engineers, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
• Experience with underground utility construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to lead project meetings and maintain strong relationships with owners and clients.
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar construction technology is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent construction experience will be considered.
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel based on project requirements.
