Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Manager to support the Transmission Project Portfolio Management organization in Vancouver, WA. This hybrid, contract role focuses on delivering capital projects from inception to close, coordinating budgets, schedules, and resources in alignment with PMI-based methodologies.

You will work with BPA stakeholders, sponsors, and performance managers to draft plans, manage risks, monitor progress, and produce final reports detailing lessons learned and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in a project management capacity.
• Experience should include process development and execution on projects.
• PMI or PMP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and coordinate projects from inception to close in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders.
• Draft project plans, resource strategies and funding estimates for assigned projects.
• Monitor budgets, schedules and risks; provide updates to BPA managers.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and communication across business and technical domains.
• Prepare final project reports detailing lessons learned and outcomes.
