Job summary

Horner & Shifrin, Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a full-time Traffic Signal Project Manager with 10+ years of experience to lead transportation projects.

You will interact with clients, manage staff, develop business in Utah, and deliver engineering analyses, reports, and designs for traffic signal operations using CAD tools and OpenRoads/Geopak/Civil3D.

Qualifications

• Experience working directly with the Utah Department of Transportation and local municipalities.
• Existing business development relationships.
• Licensed professional engineer in Utah, preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Experience using at least one CAD platform (MicroStation or AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of traffic signal operations and ITS and other traffic control devices.
• Knowledge of highway design packages (OpenRoads, Geopak, Civil3D).
• Critical thinking and analysis.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must complete a background check.

Horner & Shifrin is seeking a full-time Traffic Signal Project Manager in our Transportation business unit in Salt Lake City, UT. This position requires 10+ years of experience.

• Interact and communicate with clients, vendors and staff of all levels
• Ability to lead, manage and schedule staff to meet project needs
• Track multiple projects simultaneously to keep jobs on schedule and under budget
• Perform transportation engineering analyses and calculations
• Manage traffic signal design and transportation operation projects
• Prepare and write engineering and other reports
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships
• Develop business in the Utah region

SALARY RANGE

Horner & Shifrin, Inc. offers a comprehensive total rewards package and is committed to fair, competitive, market-based compensation. The target salary range for this position is $95,000 to $145,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.
